aquaCorps Back Issues - Collector Issues ($49.50 each)

aquaCorps Magazine was born at a very exciting time, and it certainly greatly influenced the technical diving revolution of the late 80’s to early 90’s. Wired Magazine described it as “The Sea Geek’s Bible”, and if you ever wanted confirmation of this, just talk to pretty much any technical diver of note today. They will all agree on one thing—the publication that greatly influenced their personal diving was aquaCorps. As Michael Menduno describes it: “the independent journal for experienced divers”. The resulting prose was greedily consumed by every diver wanting to know more about the evolution of sport diving—the new and exciting movement—high-tech diving.

aquaCorps and included incredbile and provocotive articles such as the 'Call of the Wah Wah' . Now from the dusty archives at DFP - we discovered a number of back issues. All but a few editions have sold out however 3 issues remain. (N9, N10 and N13.) 'N9' published 1995 titled 'Wreckers' was dubbed by the wrecking community as THE most outstanding issue of any diving magazine ever published. This issue by editor M2 ran with the Lusitania 1994 expedition as well as featuring an interview with the late Polly Tapson.

These are in perfect condition and definitely are collectors items. Email us to order one of the final few copies available.

An Introduction to Exploration

This download is an introduction to the book Technically Speaking. It lays out the essence of it's contents and the history of it's evolution. It began as a teaching system the author used to instruct people in various industries (like research scientists or public safety/emergency personnel). There were no courses really appropriate for their specific needs. The Trichotomy of Diving began as a result. It evolved into the basis of all advanced diver training philosophies. 330K. .

Blue Print for Technical Dive Planning

The Chart of Technical Dive Planning basically covers the Where, Why, with Who, How and What-if's of each dive plan. We maintain that a detailed and well thought out Dive Plan should be constructed for each and every dive, from the Open Water Level to Deep Mixed Gas, Cave and Rebreather Diving. This is very important because divers sometimes take their experience for granted, presume a dive will workout fine and overlook some or all of the parts of properly planning a dive. When things go wrong and your dive plan did not include a contingency to cover that problem, resolving it becomes more difficult. This can increase a diver's risk and stress levels exponentially. 86K
