BC Dive Community Releases 2008 Accident Report BC Dive Community has just released the first Annual Dive Incident Report of BC. They have also created a reporting document you can use to report an incident. Please use it to help use create this report more complete next year. As you will see no names, places etc are mentioned as this is not about finger pointing but the goal is to learn form mistakes and improve safety in diving. Feel free to give us your feedback. I thank the safety committee members for their input and comments on the concept version and their help in making this report possible. A quick reminder that the dive safety poster are still available for downloading and in areas where member have distributed them in Marine shops, fishing tackle shops and marinas the number of "close encounters" has been reduced.
